Exporting a course copy on Moodle is a fundamental task for transferring course materials, ensuring backups, or sharing content with other educators. Follow these steps to export your course effortlessly:

Steps to export a course copy:
  1. Access your course settings by selecting Options located at the bottom left corner of the page, and choosing More... from the popup panel.
  2. Within the Administration block, find and select the "Course administration" option. This will expand a menu with additional settings.
  3. Select Backup and it will take you to the backup settings page for the course.
  4. On the Backup page, you'll see various options for configuring your backup. You can choose which elements of the course to include in the backup, such as activities, resources, blocks, and more. Customize these settings according to your preferences.
  5. After configuring the backup settings, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the "Jump to final step" button. This will take you to the confirmation page.
  6. Review the backup settings one last time to ensure everything is configured correctly. Once you're satisfied, click on the "Perform backup" button to start the backup process.
  7. Moodle will generate a backup file containing all the selected course content. Once the backup process is complete, you'll see a link to download the backup file. Click on this link to download the file to your computer.

This backup will serve as a copy of your course that can be restored or transferred as needed.
