H5P is a powerful tool that can transform a traditional, static lesson into an engaging and interactive learning experience. It can be employed to craft quiz questions, create graphics with interactive hotspots, add moving content, and more. 

For summative assessment, such as exams, it is recommended for security reasons to use the Quiz activity rather than H5P.

Steps to Create H5P Content:

1. Enable editing in your course.

2. Click on the gear icon at the top-right corner of the page.

3. Scroll down and select "Content Bank."

4. Click the "Add" button and choose an H5P interactive content type.

Steps to Create an In-Video Quiz Using the Content Bank:

1. Select the "Add" button and "Interactive Video."

2. Provide a title for your content.

3. To create an interactive video, you need to add a video as the foundation. You can either upload a video or embed one using a URL or a YouTube link. Customize the video's title, description, and poster image if necessary. Note that captions are supported, except for YouTube videos.

4. Access the "Add interactions" tab at the top of the editor. Here, you can include various interaction elements from the toolbar above the video clip. For this example, we will add a multiple-choice question.

5. Click "Multiple Choice" and configure settings such as the display time, whether the video should pause, the display format, label, and title.

6. Add your question and the available answer options.

7. Decide on advanced options, such as behavioral settings and adaptivity, if needed.

8. Click "Save" and return to the previous page.

9. At the end of your interactive video, you can add a summary to encourage learners to reflect on the content.

10. Click "Save" and return to the Content Bank.

Steps to Add the H5P Video in a Course:

1. Enable editing in your course.

2. In the section where you want to include the H5P content, select the "Add an activity or resource" menu.

3. Choose the "H5P" activity.

4. Provide a name and edit the description as needed.

5. Click "Add" to open the File picker and select "Content Bank."

6. Configure the H5P settings by expanding options related to H5P, grading, attempt options, and more.

7. Click "Save" and return to the course.
